The name Green Canyon was popularized by the French in 1993.Namun, Sundanese people call the Green Canyon as Cukang Taneuh or in the Indonesian language means Land Bridge. [Name of Green Canyon is also a pun on the name of the Grand Canyon in Colorado, United States.
